 Montessori Casa Dei Bambini

is an incredible school focused on enriching the lives of young children by fostering fierce independence, a love of learning, and an education unlike any other.

Our Philosophy

"To assist a child we must provide him with an environment which will enable him to develop freely."

        - Maria Montessori

At Montessori Casa Dei Bambini, we believe that every child has the potential to learn and grow in a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Our experienced teachers foster a love of learning by providing individualized attention that helps each child reach their full potential. We strive to create a community of lifelong learners who are prepared to make a positive impact on the world.

Our Story

A dream come true...

It was a beautiful April day in 1989 when we came across the Montessori philosophy. As we walked through Lettuce Lake Park with our two month old baby boy, Dean and I observed as a mom read Shakespeare to her four year old. We stopped and listened in amazement. That four year old concentrated so well and listened attentively!  As the mom paused, we intervened and commented about her brilliant child. She smiled kindly and told us that he attended a Montessori school and that it was because of this school that her son was in love with reading. It was then that our love for Montessori was born.

Needless to say, we enrolled our two children at a wonderful Montessori school in Tampa. I soon became a Montessori teacher while Dean worked in management for a Fortune 500 company. As parents, Dean and I understood how crucial it was for our children to attend a Montessori school, and our dream of opening our own schoolhouse began to grow in our hearts. Through the years, we have planned and thought about every detail of our school, so Montessori Casa Dei Bambini is the product of this dream that was conceived over 20 years ago.

Since opening in 2014, our passion, love, and dedication has only grown. Every student we've had, no matter the length of time with us, we have loved and treated as our own. We have worked tirelessly to create the most wonderful school that both child and parent can love. We began with a modular building and loved every inch of it. At the end of 2022, we began construction on our beautiful building and and began classes in our gorgeous new environment fall of 2023. We are thrilled in our new space and love to see the pride the children have when they walk into their school.

We feel so blessed to be able to do what we love every day and enrich the lives of children. It is our belief that children are the future of our world, so we are ready to offer them the best Montessori education.
